For 90 years, ULMS has been a leading force in the fight for progress and equality in the state of Washington. We have empowered our community through direct programming and services that have provided employment opportunities, fed families with limited access to food, mentorship and guidance for our youth, housing for those experiencing homelessness and more. We encourage you to join us in this fight. Together, we will empower our community like never before!

Why Become a Member?

Although we are proud of the progress our team has made, we know the road to equality is long and that we must continue to work tirelessly toward our vision of equity for all.

We cannot do this alone. The success of our mission depends on the support of our community.

Membership to Seattle Urban League Young Professionals will empower our efforts to continue making strides in uplifting those who are most vulnerable among us. This is an invitation to those who want to stand with us as we dismantle systemic racism and inequities, then replace them with a new social contract in which every Black child, man and woman is viewed as a full person.

Will you join us?

Membership to Seattle Urban League Young Professionals — at any capacity — plays a critical role in our efforts to empower the community we serve. Please note, your membership fee will be charged one time annually.

Seattle Urban League Young Professionals prides itself on practicing diversity and inclusion in everything we do, starting with having a staff that is representative of the community we serve. We prohibit discrimination based on age, race, disability, ethnicity, marital or family status, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information, gender identity, medical condition or any other characteristic protected by law. This principle extends to all decisions relating to recruitment, hiring, training, placement, advancement, compensation, benefits, termination and in our manner of practice as we provide services to our clients. Our programs specialize in serving clients of diverse ethnicities, genders and includes those who are homeless and/or post incarcerated. All are treated with the utmost dignity, respect and courtesy.
